    Why to use Epoxy flooring:

    1. Grease & oil spillage on the floor which cannot be cleaned easily thus gets penetrated into the floor and loosens the concrete. Thus increases the long term maintenance cost.

    2. Chemical spillage on the floor can cause accident and cleaning is very hard.

    3. Water on the floor gets penetrated and corrode the reinforcements which in turn reduces the strength of the floor.

    4. Bad and ugly look of the floor thus reduces productivity and credibility of the workmen of the workshop which in turn reduces productivity.

    5. No or unprofessional gangway marking reduces safety at the workplace.

    Benefits of Epoxy Flooring:

    1. Totally nonporous surface does not allow oil, grease, chemical, water etc. seepage into the concrete.

    2. Increases the life of the floor thus reduces long term maintenance cost.

    3. Increases resistance to high impact and abrasion

    4. Easily repairable floor.

    5. Gives a wonderful smooth aesthetic look of the floor which can be easily cleanable thus reduces chances of accident.

    6. Good look and cleanliness increases productivity and credibility of the workmen.

    7. Wonderful look of the workshop is always presentable and creates high standard of the company in front of customers and clients.

    CLEAN ROOM SPECIFICATION:

    CLEAN ROOM EXIST OF:

    1. Hygiene Epoxy or Polyurethane Flooring in sterile area.

    2. Hygiene Epoxy/PU wall coating.

    3. Rounding of corners or covings.

    4. Ceiling coating.

    WHY CLEAN ROOM REQUIRED:

    1. Floor joints (as in case of tiles and stones) are prone to accumulation of dust and dirt, become breeding areas of micro-organisms.

    2. Corners of wall and floor are prone to severe dust and dirt accumulation hence growth of micro-organism.

    3. Soft paints like oil/ acrylic paints in coordination with moisture offer ready food to micro-organism hence accelerate their growth. Thus polyurethane antifungal and antibacterial wall coating is recommended.

POINTS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY FLOORING:

    1. Hygienic/anti-bacterial (Seamless, joint-less)

    2. Clean ability of floor

    3. Resistance to Wear

    4. Chemical Resistance.

    5. Resistance to Impact, Static Load and Dynamic load.

    6. Ease of Maintenance.

    7. Anti-slip/anti-stain properties

    8. Flammability and Fire Safety.

    9. Scratch/scrub resistance

HOW IS CLEAN ROOM EPOXY DONE?

    1. Floor preparation through grinding.

    2. Application of Epoxy Primer over the prepared surface

    3. Application of 2mm thick epoxy screed using solvent free epoxy.

    4. Application of 2 mm thick Ceramic Enhanced Epoxy Self Levelling Flooring.

WHAT IS COVING i.e., rounding of corners

    1. Proper surface preparation

    2. Resin layering of the area where coving has to be constructed

    3. Construction of coving using epoxy and quartz sand

    4. Layering of the coving using resin rich putty made out of epoxy and silica powder

    5. Over-coating of the coving with epoxy/polyurethane paint.

    TYPES OF COVING

    1. Wall to Floor - 75mm x75mm (3"x3")

    2. Wall to Wall - 50mmx 50mm (2"x2")

    3. Wall to False ceiling - 25mm x25mm(1"x1")

EIS PU WALL GUARD (ANTIFUNGAL PU WALL COATING)

    1. EIS PU WALL (WB) is based on aliphatic resins and exhibits enhanced resistance to U.V. without cracking, peeling or turning yellow.

    2. It is further cross linked and has good resistance to alkalis and mild acids and solvents.

    3. It is designed to provide rich, lustrous, very smooth flexible and tough film to provide hygienic surface. EIS PU WALL(WB) has an extremely low water vapor absorption unlike acrylics and it does not turn soft even under prolonged immersion in water Epoxy flooring, Coving and PU Anti-Fungal Wall Coating and at the same time has excellent breathability due to reverse osmosis allowing water trapped in the substrate to evaporate.

    4. It is single pack, very economical, having excellent water resistance, weathering resistance, extra ordinary adhesiveness, fast drying and very good breathing properties.
