    Eliminates Down Time

Concrete polishing is a dry process that allows our customers to eliminate any significant down time. Access can be given to areas as we work. This often allows us to work during normal operating periods if needed. We use highly effective HEPA filtration vacuum systems that remove all airborne dust particles. This process eliminates the need to cover most equipment and puts our customers back on the floor immediately after the process is complete.

    Hardens and Densifies Floors

The removal of a thin layer of porous concrete plus the use of fast-drying water soluble densifiers closes the surface pores of unpolished concrete, making the floor less porous and more dense. This makes polished concrete floors stronger and better wearing. They absorb fewer contaminants such as water and lubricants, and resist impacts more effectively.

    Reduces Concrete Dusting

Normal dusting of unpolished concrete increases the cost and frequency of floor cleaning. Porous concrete often acts like sandpaper and speeds the deterioration of wheels, brushes and cleaning pads. Concrete dust settles on everything from sensitive machinery, moving and maintenance equipment and warehoused inventory. Concrete polishing removes this thin layer of porous concrete.

Reduces Tire Marks and Tire Wear

Unpolished porous concrete floors speed the deterioration of expensive moving equipment wheels. The hardened and densified nature of polished concrete floors reduces tire marks and much of the wear and tear on expensive moving equipment wheels by eliminating the porous, unpolished first layer of concrete.

Improves Performance of Floor Maintenance Equipment

Polished concrete floors make cleaning easier and less expensive. These floors create less dust, absorb fewer contaminates, and allow cleaning equipment to pick up more of the cleaning solutions they put down. Polished floors extend the life of brushes, pads, mops, dust mops and brooms. These floors effectively reduce the frequency, length of time, and expense of cleaning.

    Reduces Future Maintenance Expenses

Polished concrete is an effective long-term expense reduction. Standard concrete finishes often require sealing or waxing. These treatments need to be removed and reapplied periodically and often increase the floors tendency to retain contaminants. Rubber from wheels gets trapped and can turn black and unsightly. Polished concrete needs no sealers or waxes. Simple, periodic burnishing helps maintain the reflective nature of these floors and is quick and easy relative to the time and expensive of stripping and applying new sealers or waxes.

    Increases Reflective Light Levels

The concrete polish process allows the customer to specify reflective levels from matte to highly reflective “mirror like” surfaces. Highly reflective floors increase overall light levels by reflecting upwards the light from ceiling fixtures. Estimates for improved light levels can reach 20% and help reduce energy costs.
