Do Van Hai (JV) : So we will have Dust Collector!

Allison Birkmeyer, CSI : Wet grinding can create a slurry, which may be difficult to remove and have a negative affect on the polishing process.

Craig Walton: Since I polish 95 % wet, and prefer it to dry, I would be curious what negative affect you have found by grinding wet.
Wet grinding , I find, is easier on the abrasives, easy to see what is going on on the floor, if you vac it up, quickly. I gauge how the process is going by how much slurry, and the color. For me , I definitely prefer wet to dry.

Mark DeFusco : In some states it is mandatory to polish concrete wet, California for instance. Our company offers concrete polishing pads for both wet polishing and dry polishing.

Marc Alicea:  We grind dry and have been for many years the past two years I have been exploring into the wet grind. I can personally say that wet grinding with metals is faster and have done several large glue removal projects with one set of metal bond diamonds. Two projects totaling 137,000sf one set of 12 100 grit bullseye diamonds from VMC Technical. At $70 each over 137k and still have life on them what deal.
