    Marc Alicea : Graig
I don't know aything about the laws in construction in NY or CA but i know one thing for sure as a contractor that dry/wet grinds and polish - if running wet period we are using Gel-Maxx because the stuff actually works. This means we can start doing elevated slabs wet now that theirs a proven product that solidifies concrete slurry into dry pile that can be thrown away into ordinary dumpster. Just my 2cents...

Joe Palmer : If you have a good vacuum dust will not be a problem. We use the new 80id from HTC and it is almost dust free.

Rafael A. Cabrera:  Silica Dust, as little as it may be, is going to be the Achilles Heel of the Polish Concrete industry. The International Polish Concrete and Staining Conference is holding a seminar this October specifically directed to this topic.

I'm not a contractor, but I have been very involved studying industry trends as a marketing company in this industry.

You are going to see greater scrutiny and compliance by all levels of government aimed on both Silica Dust and Slurry Disposal.

I'll leave the technical points to others who are contractors and experts at the application level.

Lois, my comments are based on what is happening in the United States, not Asia or Europe, or any other country, not even Canada. Since you are in China, you are asking from a supplier's perspective.
