    Diamond Grinding Plate M8 Connection

Diamond Grinding Plate M8 Connection 3-hole bracket with M8-connection. 2 diamond segments size 40 x 12 x 12 mm. All  diamond grinders use the same style of bolt-on diamond products. The quantity used on each machine will vary depending upon the diameter of the drive plate; on the larger machines, the number of segments can be varied so as to alter the pressure being applied on each segment, thereby changing the operating characteristics. The abrasive medium in the grinding segment is industrial diamond. This comes in different grades, generally referred to as grit (sizes). The body of the segment, in which the diamond grit is encased, is a metal alloy, generally referred to as the bond. The composition of the bond (the metal alloy) dictates the rate at which it wears away, hence the rate at which the diamond grit is exposed. A hard concrete surface will require a diamond with a softer bond; the softer bond allows the grit to become exposed more quickly, with the effect that the hard surface can be ‘worked’ most efficiently. Conversely, a softer or more abrasive concrete surface will benefit from a harder bond as this will protect the diamond from being exposed too quickly.
